Exam Prep Tip
The May 7 page describes a first-time pass rate near 50–60%. That band is commentary. It is not a figure the Department of State publishes on the salesperson page. The exam is administered by the Department of State, not Pearson VUE. Packages that add practice tests can help, including higher Aceable, CE Shop, and Colibri tiers. Compare those rows in the table and confirm each cart. The primary Aceable row on this page is the $191.20 after-price from the live 20% paint, with no typed code.
How Long Does It Take?
| Pace | Time | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Full-time | 2–3 weeks | Studying 4–6 hours a day, as cited on the May 7 page |
| Part-time | 4–8 weeks | Studying 1–2 hours a day |
| Casual pace | 3–6 months | A few hours per week |
The 77-hour course is the education block. School finals, eAccessNY exam dates, and broker sponsorship add calendar time. Treat the ranges above as planning bands from the May 7 page, not a promise.
